From the heavy-duty engines of the diesel industry to the intricate craftsmanship of custom design, my journey has been defined by grit, technical expertise, and an unbreakable spirit. As a proud Alabama native and Theodore High School graduate, I’ve always believed in the value of hard work and community roots. My professional foundation was built at the Nashville Auto Diesel College, where I specialized in Diesel and Heavy Equipment. For nine years, I served as a dedicated diesel mechanic, mastering the complexities of massive machinery and ensuring that the engines powering our world kept moving. That decade in the shop taught me the importance of precision, durability, and solving problems that others might find overwhelming. Life, however, shifted my gears in an unexpected direction. After facing a series of serious health challenges, I transitioned from the garage to new ventures. Today, I am more than a mechanic; I am a heart failure survivor and an LVAD warrior. These experiences haven't just changed my daily life—they’ve given me a new mission. I now use my platform to speak openly about heart failure, sharing my story to advocate for others and bring awareness to the strength required to navigate life with an LVAD. Whether I am meticulously crafting a custom piece for Black Veil Creations or sharing my journey of resilience, I bring the same "dark and gritty" determination that saw me through a decade under a diesel engine.
